To know how many SIM cards are running in your name, a portal has been launched by the Government of India - tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in


1. First of all, you have to open it by clicking on the link given above.


2. After this, you have to enter your mobile number in the next page which is registered in your name and after that click on Request OTP.


3. After this, an OTP will come on the mobile number entered by you, which you have to enter in the next page and click on Validate. Or it may be that it automatically reads the OTP, that is, you do not have to enter the OTP manually.


4. After this, you will see some mobile numbers like this which are activated or registered in your name.


5. If after seeing any of these numbers you feel that you have never used this number, then tick the box in front of that number, click on This is not my number and click on Report. After this your report will be submitted and after this the concerned department will block or close it. Also, you will get a 6 digit code by SMS with the help of which you can also check the status of your report.


6. And if after seeing any of these numbers you feel that you had used this number, but now you do not use that number, then tick the box in front of that number, click on This is my number, Not required and click on Report.

How to Check Report Status?

For this, you have to follow the steps 1 to 4 above, after that you have to enter the 6-digit code as mentioned below and click on Report Status. Then you will get to see the status of the report.

5. Ration card

6. Any official document issued by a government department
